Telemenia wins a tender to build a 105MW power plant in Gabon

This is the second tender for the construction of a power station which the company has won in the country. In 2009, Telemenia Ltd was selected by the Government of Gabon inorder to promote the initiative to expand the electric power capacity of the Country.

Ever since, the company has cooperated closely with Gabon’s Ministry of Energy and Ministry of Finance by building and operating two major power stations serving the country’s largest cities.

 The Port Gentil power plant, which will be constructed in two phases of 52.5MW, will be dual fuel power station-Natural Gas and Diesel fuel, will produce 105 MW of electric power for the industrial city of Port Gentil. The plant will employ a team of 200 workers from the local community .

The project is expected to be completed in record time of 13 months.
